The rapper Invincible recently lobbied successfully for MTV-U to air her independent video, Ropes. The song is controversial because it deals with suicide and depression. Invincible once seemed poised to “make it” in the record industry in the Big Apple. She was offered the chance to stand on stage next to Madonna. Instead, she chose to go back to Detroit and rap about tough social issues that matter to her. PERSONAL POLITICS: THE POLLS Political analysts are still tallying up what the changes in this past week's election will mean for all of us. We asked listeners to call in with stories of how participating in the electoral process can make a difference personally. Today, two stories, both from young voters.
